Research

Overview

We declare "transformation from competitive society to society of symbiosis and tolerance " as a research philosophy, and We will pursue the "True Science", excluding excess a result-oriented system, utilitarianism, the usefulness. In 2008, Professor Yoichiro Nambu received the Nobel prize in physics for his discovery of the mechanism of spontaneous broken symmetry in subatomic physics which was reported in 1961 (47 years ago). At the same time, Prof. Makoto Kobayashi and Toshihide Masukawa were awarded the Nobel prize in physics for the discovery of the origin of the broken symmetry which predicts the existence of at least three families of quarks in nature those was reported in 1973 (36 years ago). At the same year, Prof. Osamu Shimomura for the discovery and development of the green fluorescent protein, GFP" that was firstly repoetedin 1962 (46 years ago). We will strive to basic research that has "philosophy" such agnostic immediate of papers and conference presentations. For its purpose, it does the research which becomes only one not being a number one (such as, the activated carbon oxidation, the optical activities Schiff base catalyst). In addition, I hope as a chemist to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society. In the present of the origin of such a principles, we are working mainly on the following three research subjects. I have prepared the simple version and the detailed version of the research contents. Please enjoy them and I hope you have interest in them.

  1. Catalytic asymmetric reaction using novel chiral Schiff base ligand-metal complexes
  2. Oxidation environmentally benign methods
  3. Coupling reaction using nitrogen based –metal complexes
