Welcome to Kobe University
My name is Tomoya Yamashita. I have been engaged in clinical
service in Kobe University Hospital and also basic and
clinical medical research in cardiovascular medicine. I have
just started my career as a professor in the Graduate School
of Science, Technology and Innovation, Kobe University. I
will take this opportunity to expand my joint research with
a wider range of researchers, and share my experience and
feeling with a wider circle of people who want to solve the
medical problems and contribute to medicine and medical
care. We will work to solve the problem through
interdisciplinary co-creation. And the name of the
laboratory is "Medical Innovation". I would like to make an
effort to identify the medical core problems, propose
solutions to the problems, and bring about innovation in the
medical and health fields.
I would like to work hard together with researchers and
students in the fields of medicine, health, and life
sciences who have the same aspirations as I would like to
grow together, so please feel free to contact me.
We will actively promote joint research with universities,
research institutes, and companies, so please feel free to
