Research

For sustainable development of human life, materials separation is significant in many sorts of application in industries, environmental protection, and materials recycling. Membrane process, as one key technology for materials separation, is currently attracting great attention. It is also highly expected to contribute to water and atmospheric environments and the realization of an up-coming sustainable society by recycling water, air and energy. Our research group is conducting sorts of research focusing on membrane science and engineering, specifically the development and evaluation of novel functional membranes such as highly porous membranes, biomimetic membrane formed via self-assembly technology and facilitated transport membrane, and clarification of the function occurrence mechanism.
