Innovative
Cosmetology

We are conducting research and development of cosmetic materials based on green chemical technologies.

Purpose of the Program

As life expectancy continues to increase, society is entering the era of living beyond 100 years. Today, people seek not only longevity but also a healthy, beautiful, and fulfilling life.

In response to the sustainability challenges highlighted by the SDGs, there is a growing global trend—particularly in Europe and North America— to avoid cosmetic ingredients that do not satisfy the following six criteria.

Our program aims to establish an innovative field of Innovative Cosmetology by developing next-generation cosmetic technologies that meet these requirements while contributing to society through science, sustainability, and industry collaboration.

6 Elements

1 Feel
2 Natural
3 Biodegradable
4 Sustainable
5 Animal-Origin Free
6 Cost-Effective

Introduction to Our Laboratory

We conduct research on next-generation hair coloring technologies based on advanced green chemical technologies, as well as skincare technologies aimed at improving wrinkles and sagging skin.

In addition, we work on value creation that incorporates business perspectives, including container development, sales strategies, branding, and entrepreneurship, with the goal of developing new markets through innovative technologies.
