Prof. Ryosuke Matsubara

Background

Dr.hayashi
Ryosuke Matsubara was born in Chiba prefecture (Japan) in 1978. He received his undergraduate education at the University of Tokyo under the mentorship of Prof. Shu Kobayashi. He undertook his PhD studies in the same laboratory, during which he received master degree in 2003 and was appointed as a JSPS fellow (DC1). He became an assistant professor at the University of Tokyo in 2005 (Prof. Shu Kobayashi) and received PhD degree in 2007. In April 2009, he moved to the laboratory of Prof. Timothy F. Jamison at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In April 2011, he commenced his independent career at Kobe University (in Japan) as an associate professor and has since been promoted to the current position of full professor in December 2023.
