July 26: Presentation of the research on aviation security against volcanic ash at DPRI of Kyoto University.
Nov. 15-17: Paper titled "A way to game-change in　competition　of　energy　choice　in　air　transport　industry" will be presented at 71th Conference of Infrastructure Planning and Management, JSCE at Okayama University.

June 17: New research article "Alliance and network in maritime shipping industry" (co-author: Dr. Ryohei Yamamoto, Fukui Pref. University) is publised in Maritime Policy & Management.
July 1-4: The 26th Annual Conference of Air Transport Research Society (ATRS) in Kobe was held; Takebayashi worked as the chair person of this annual conference (cochair: Prof. Hanaoka of Institute of Tokyo Tech.).
Sep. 4-7: Paper presentation at EASTS 2023 in Malaysia (co-author: Dr. Kazuhiko Ishiguro).
Nov. 24-26: Paper presentation (Sea and Air) at 68th Conference of Infrastructure Planning and Management (JSCE) that will be held in Tokyo Mtropolitan University.

August 24-27: Three research papers were presented at ATRS 2022 in Antwerp.
Sep. 7: The research paper "Shipper’s Port Choice Behavior in South Viet Nam: Discrete Choice Approach" (coauthor: Prof. Tran of University of Economics Ho-Chi-Minh City, Viet Nam) is published in Journal of the EASTS 2021.
October 18th: Presentation and working as a session moderator at The 12th Kobe University Brussels European Centre Symposium that was held in Brussels Free University (VUB) in Brussels, Belgium.

Feb. 5: Research paper "Efficient inter-port cooperation considering port congestion and port charge" (with Prof. Hanaoka of TITECH) is published in Maritime Transport Research (MARTRA).
April 1st: Dr. Takebayashi assumes the director of Kobe University Research Alliance for Human and Ocean Coevolution (RAHOC).
May 5: Research paper "Workability of a multiple-gateway airport system with a high-speed rail network" is published in Transport Policy 107.
Aug. 20: Research paper "Large volcanic eruptions and their influence on air transport: The case of Japan" (with M. Onisi and M. Iguchi) is published in Journal of Air Transport Management 97.
Aug. 26-29: Two research papers will be presented at ATRS 2021 in Sydney (Online).
Sep. 15: The research paper "Shipper’s Port Choice Behavior in South Viet Nam: Discrete Choice Approach" (co-author: Prof. T.A.T.Tran) which was presented at EASTS 2021 in Hiroshima won the OCDI Takeuchi Award.
Dec. 27: The research paper "Managing a multiple-gateway airport system with super high-speed rail" (co-author: Dr. H. Yamaguchi of Kanazawa Univ.) is published in Journal of Air Transport Management 99.
