Research theme
For the popularization of service dogs
Service dogs play important roles for social independence and participation of the persons with physical disabilities from the viewpoint of social welfare. However, service dogs are very few and not well recognized in Japan.
In order to popularize service dogs, I previously carried out an investigation on the acceptance situation of service dogs by the international flights to and from Japan. Subsequently, I have been investigating the current global acceptance situation of service dogs.
