Welcome to the Ooya Lab !
Biomaterials research for diagnosis and human-friendly therapy is being actively pursued that focuses on anti-cancer drug delivery via oral or transdermal route, controlled release of stabilized proteins for regenerative medicine. We are very interested in fundamental biomaterials concepts in drug dissolution, cancer therapy, controlled release of biologically active agents and cell imaging. In order to establish original concepts, we are investigating molecular design of biomaterials, organic synthesis of biocompatible compounds including food-based molecules, and physical and biological properties of the designed biomaterials.
