研究概要
 固体の電子状態を密度汎関数法の局所密度近似を用いて第一原理から計算し、その基底状態の電子状態を明らかにする。研究の対象となる物質は稀土類・アクチナイド化合物をはじめ、酸化物高温超伝導体、遷移金属層間化合物も含まれる。計算に用いる手法は、現在はスピン軌道作用を含んだFLAPW 法を主に用いている。最近は、f電子系に対してLDA+U法を適用して局在・遍歴の移り変わりを微視的に調べることも行なっている。
